Hello my lovelies! So the time has finally come for me to meet up with some other South East bloggers! Yay! I have been wanting to do this for a while but had no idea of how to be able to attend a meet! Luckily for me, my friend, or as she calls me "A blogger that lives near me" (thanks Livs) was already planning on going to a meetup on the 23/08/2014! For me this was amazing! I was so excited to meet so many more people who had the same interests as me and be able to find more blogs to follow and read through! In the back of my mind I was worrying that they would be mean or I wouldn't have enough knowledge about makeup to talk to them especially as I haven't had my blog for long! But wow, they were all so amazing! They were friendly and made me feel comfortable and made me feel like I'd known them for years! I honestly love them all so much *cringe*! This has been the best day I've had in a long time so I'm gonna talk you guys through it!

FIRST OF ALL I just want to credit Lottie (HERE) and Aileen (HERE) who organised this whole meet! Such a great day! Okay so we met at Costa Coffee in Brighton and sat down, introduced ourselves to everyone over a few costa frappes and started talking about, well, exams and college of course! What else are beauty bloggers supposed to talk about...? Then to our surprise, we got given this awesome goody bag full of sweets and treats! The picture above shows everything that was included in a cute little bag! We got to choose the colour and of course, I chose green. I will do a separate post telling you all what was included in this little green bag of awesomeness!

 

After sitting in Costa and talking for about an hour (maybe more!), it was time to head off to Pizza Express! When we got there, we were led upstairs to a specially reserved table so we were able to start to munch on our first starter course of doughballs with a range of sauces, nom! We then finally started to swap boxes (I was too excited for someone to get mine! I'm so impatient...), Aileen was told to close her eyes whilst the boxes were passed around the table until she said stop. When everybody stopped we got to unwrap our goodies! I got Lottie's cute little box and I loved it so so much! I'm not going to go through what was in it, I'll write a whole post about the boxes! The lovely Megan (HERE) got my box and I hope she loved it but again I will write about that in another post!

After finishing our delicious pizza and doughballs and when we'd had enough of our show off talented waitor, we boxed up any pizza we hadn't finished and headed to the shops! We lost each other a couple of times because of Brighton madness, pictures and shop lines which was a pain but it all ended up with us finding each other again! I only bought two things as shown in the picture above, a Primark hoodie (£7) and Seventeen Phwoar Paint (£5.49), but I did become tempted enough to wander over to the more expensive brands and have some Benefit blush put on me, (which I love so much!!) this was the Benefit Helvana blush.

So after a day of talking, eating, box swapping and shopping it was time to go home. Unfortunately me and Olivia (HERE) had to go before everyone else but I still had a great time! I'm so happy I've met these people and had an amazing day.
